8 injured in San Fernando Valley 2-car crash

Eight people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision that caused one vehicle to roll over at a San Fernando Valley intersection Sunday, fire officials said. Los Angeles Fire Department officials responded to the intersection of Sherman Way and Oso Avenue in Winnetka just before 4:30 p.m. after receiving reports of the crash, according to an agency news release. Details remain limited, and it is unclear exactly how the collision occurred. Footage posted to Citizen showed paramedics treating people in the street as crowds gathered near the intersection. Fire officials said eight patients with non-life-threatening injuries were being evaluated for possible transport to a hospital.
