Greensboro police are investigating a shooting early this morning that injured multiple people on West Gate City Boulevard. Two High Point men have been charged after a mass shooting at a Greensboro event that injured nine people, although investigators say they are still working to identify who was responsible for the gunfire. The Greensboro Police Department announced Monday that Carlos Withers, 21, and Edward Trey Lindsay III, 24, were arrested after officers took them into custody near the scene of the shooting. Police said Withers is charged with going armed to the terror of the people, discharging a firearm within the city limits and injury to personal property.
