A 9-year-old girl was killed and another child was critically injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Texas 71 and Interstate 35 in southeast Austin, according to police. Austin police identified the child who died as Lilliana Segura. Officers responded at about 7:41 a.m. to the intersection of the northbound I-35 frontage road and westbound Texas 71 frontage road, where a Jeep Compass and Tesla Cybertruck had collided. The Jeep was carrying a driver and two children, while the Cybertruck was occupied by its driver, police said. Both children were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
