LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — FOX5 obtained the 911 emergency dispatch calls, which are shedding light on the chaotic chain of events surrounding a deadly police shooting outside an east Las Vegas Walmart. The audio captures the initial reports of violence, the sounds of gunfire, and the emotional aftermath of the July 21 shooting near Boulder Highway and Nellis Boulevard. The incident began around 6 a.m. when a Walmart security guard called 911 to report a physical fight outside the entrance. “I need police to the Walmart on Nellis and Boulder,” the security guard told dispatchers. “We have a big fight going on. I need you guys here now.” The guard noted that four individuals were involved and throwing rocks. According to court records, the altercation started as a domestic dispute between Kwame Swain , 28, and his girlfriend.
