GREELEY, Colo. — 9NEWS is hosting two town halls ahead of Colorado's 2026 general election. The events are being organized after several key candidates on the November ballot declined invitations to participate in a televised debate or appear before voters at a town hall. Phil Weiser, the Democratic candidate for governor, will attend a town hall hosted by 9NEWS at 6 p.m. Weiser's opponent, Republican Victor Marx, declined invitations to participate in a debate or appear at the town hall. The event will proceed as planned at the Union Colony Event Center, located at 701 10th Ave.
