A N.J. student was punched in the face during a gym class football game. Now he’s suing.

A high school senior who suffered multiple injuries during a touch football game in gym class has filed a negligence lawsuit against the Palmyra school district. The lawsuit filed by Connor Jones , a then-student who was 18 when he was injured at Palmyra High School on June 2, 2025. The lawsuit also names the minor student accused of injuring him. Jones broke his clavicle and suffered facial injuries that required emergency surgery, according to the lawsuit. The suit alleges the district failed to provide a safe environment and failed to properly supervise and train its staff.
