Adult, teenager hospitalized after shooting on West Chestnut Street

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two people were hospitalized after an early morning shooting in the Russell neighborhood. Louisville Metro Police officers were called to the 2500 block of West Chestnut Street at about 2:10 a.m. Saturday on a report of a shooting. Officers arrived to find two victims, an adult man and a teenage boy, suffering from gunshot wounds. First responders transported both victims to the hospital, where they were expected to survive, according to law enforcement.
