The trial of a man accused of shooting three homeless men in D.C. – and who was named as a suspect in two similar shootings in New York City – will resume Tuesday. 35-year-old Gerald Brevard III is facing murder and other charges in the D.C. shootings. In March 2022, he allegedly shot three homeless men in Northeast D.C. Two of the men survived, and 54-year old victim Morgan Holmes died.
