An Akron woman has been found guilty of two charges after an Akron native was struck and killed on Interstate 480 in Macedonia on New Year's Day in 2023. Africa Watson, 28, of Akron was found guilty in the death of 30-year-old Kameron Rubin, according to a Sept. 18 news release from Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich. A Summit County jury found Watson guilty of aggravated vehicular homicide, a second-degree felony; and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor.
