Sydney Heisig made history this summer by becoming the first SEC commitment in the history of Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts. CSLA's junior two-sport star, who has over 1,000 kills and 1,000 points scored in her prep volleyball and basketball career , will play volleyball at the next level for the University of Alabama. The Crimson Tide landed one of the Volunteer state's top outside hitters, as the 6-foot-3 Heisig has recorded 127 kills over her past six matches for the Lady Eagles, which included 32 kills against Heritage (Ga.) and 30 kills against Meigs County in winning efforts.
