Alexandria police arrest man for stabbing in Annandale

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Alexandria Police announced the arrest of 21-year-old Jelzon Garcia Gonzales. Police located Garcia Gonzales in the 7000 block of Columbia Pike in Annandale, Virginia. According to police, at 3 a.m., a man sleeping in the parking lot of the Tiger Market was stabbed multiple times by Garcia Gonzales. Police were called to 3903 Mount Vernon Avenue in the early hours on Tuesday morning for reports of trouble.
