An Amazon cargo plane overshot the runway at Miami International Airport Sunday and struck multiple vehicles just outside the airport, killing five people and injuring five others, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.Heavy flames and smoke could be seen coming from the crash site, with the fire department reporting "multiple patients."According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the Amazon Prime Air plane overran the runway around 2 p.m. and struck multiple vehicles near the 2100 block of Northwest 42nd Avenue. It had just arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. "Units arrived to find an airplane that had caught on fire as a result of this crash, with heavy flames and smoke showing," MDFR said. "There are multiple patients."Video obtained by NBC 6 South Florida shows a Prime Air plane, a Boeing 767, crashed outside Miami International Airport.
