PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Oregon State Police activated an Amber Alert on Monday in search of an 8-month-old who went missing from Josephine County. Within minutes, the alert was canceled. OSP announced around 11:19 a.m. the child was taken overnight from a home on Redwood Highway by a suspect named James Patterson. At 11:27 a.m., they learned the child had been found. "The suspect was taken into custody, and the child was safely recovered unharmed," OSP said. Anyone with information about Patterson is encouraged to contact the Josephine County Sheriff's Office.
