LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A 1-year-old child reported missing from Elko County has been located in Las Vegas following an AMBER Alert issued Wednesday, according to the Elko County Sheriff’s Office. The Elko County Sheriff’s Office received information on Aug. 26, 2026, that a child who had been residing in Elko County had been taken to Modesto, California, according to the sheriff’s office. Allegations of child abuse, child neglect and domestic violence were filed with the Modesto Police Department and the California Department of Social Services, the sheriff’s office said. It was alleged the mother’s boyfriend, Donny Alichanh, had punched the 1-year-old child in the face and locked the child in a closet for long periods of time, according to the sheriff’s office.
