MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. -- An Amber Alert was issued Sunday for a 14-year-old Monterey County girl who was believed to have been taken by her father after a baby was found dead in Moss Landing about a month ago. The California Highway Patrol asked the public to look out for a white Nissan Altima without license plates. The alert is active in the counties of Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Kern, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, Orange, and Imperial. The girl was allegedly abducted by 38-year-old Sergio Galvez Perez after a baby was found deceased on the side of Struve Road in the unincorporated Moss Landing area on Aug. The Monterey County Sheriff's Office accused Galvez Perez of fathering the baby with his daughter and issued warrants for both of their arrests.
