FISHERS, Ind. — An Anderson man was convicted Monday for shooting his ex-girlfriend multiple times while she was holding their infant child at a Fishers apartment complex in 2025. Giovanny Javier De Jesus De Jesus was found guilty of two counts of attempted murder and two counts of battery with a deadly weapon following a four-day jury trial. He is scheduled to be sentenced Friday, Oct. According to the Fishers Police Department, around 3:45 p.m. on June 21, 2025, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 9300 block of Benton Drive , which is an apartment complex near State Road 37 in Fishers. When officers arrived on scene, they found a woman who had been shot multiple times.
