Albuquerque police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city’s West Side. Officers with the Albuquerque Police Department responded at around 2 a.m. to a shooting outside of the Oasis Event Center, 3700 Ellison NW, just north of Cottonwood Mall, and found a man with gunshot wounds. A spokesperson for the department said the man, who was not identified, died from his injuries. The spokesperson said the investigation remains ongoing.
