Area schools navigate the use of AI in education

Source Scout · The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead reports: FARGO — Schools and colleges across the Red River Valley are taking various approaches to artificial intelligence, from study tools and assignments to classroom policies. "It's a tool for the kids and our staff, but it's not the center of it," said Jeremy Larson, assistant superintendent with the Moorhead School District. Larson says they are encouraging the use of "Gemini Notebook" to help students create flashcards, notes and other study tools. "So there has to be some general expertise, knowledge first, and then AI can enhance that," Larson said.
