Army identifies 2 pilots killed in Apache helicopter crash near Salado

Army has named the two servicemen who died when an Apache helicopter based at Fort Hood crashed Wednesday afternoon in Bell County. The pilots were identified early Friday as Chief Warrant Officer 2 Deontre T. Huey, 34, of Killeen, and Warrant Officer Seth L. Olmstead, 25, of Belton. Fort Hood officials said Huey and Olmstead were conducting a maintenance test flight in an AH-64E Apache attack helicopter when it crashed.
