LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - An arrest citation has revealed new details about a Monday morning shooting in Lexington that sent two people to the hospital. Jean Ulysse, 23, is alleged to have gotten into an argument that escalated into a shooting on Newtown Court, according to the arrest citation. During the argument, Ulysse pointed the gun at the two female victims and opened fire. One victim was shot in the leg while the other sustained a gunshot wound to the lower abdomen.

Ulysse has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault and was arraigned on Tuesday. Ulysse has a bond of $100,000 set. Jaleisha Brown, 20, was also arrested in connection with the crime and is charged with a count of third-degree terroristic threatening.
