A man is in custody in connection with a stabbing death Saturday in southeast Albuquerque. A spokesperson with Albuquerque Police says Aidan Gregg-Kriegel was detained for questioning shortly after the incident, which occurred in the 900 block of Louisiana Boulevard SE around 7:30 a.m. According to police, witnesses told officers Gregg-Kriegel was seen with the victim before and after the stabbing took place. A neighbor gave Gregg-Kriegel his cell phone, which was used to report the incident. Police say the victim, a 72-year-old male, was stabbed several times in the neck.
