Arrest warrant issued for wife of off-duty Massachusetts cop found dead in home

Search crews closed off several public areas as they combed for clues. Police said Friday they issued an arrest warrant for the still at-large wife of an off-duty Worcester, Massachusetts police officer who was found dead inside a home earlier in the week. Search crews, which included the police and U.S. Marshals service, suspended their fourth day of operations Friday evening trying to find Karen Solomon, 58, in connection with the death of her husband Worcester PD Patrolman Kurt Solomon, 57. Worcester Police Chief Paul Saucier said at a news conference Friday that an arrest warrant on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon with serious bodily injury was issued for Karen Solomon, who he said was considered armed and dangerous.
