The WNBA season will take a break after Sunday’s regular season games until Sept. 17 so its top players can play for their respective national teams at the FIBA World Cup , which runs from Sept. 4-13 in Berlin, Germany. Three former UConn players – Paige Bueckers of the Dallas Wings, Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx and the New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart were three of the 12 players chosen to play for Team USA. The U.S. team roster includes Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark, Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Rhyne Howard, Kelsey Plum, Angel Reese, A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young.
