CROIX — A 22-year-old man was shot and killed Wednesday night, according to V.I. Officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim at the Titan Service Station in La Grande Princesse just before 10 p.m. and found the victim, Thymothy Rodriguez. Rodriguez had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and Emergency Medical Technicians pronounced him dead at the scene, according to police. Police have not said if they identified a suspect or motive, and did not respond to questions about whether there is surveillance footage of the shooting. Rodriguez’s death marks the 35th homicide reported in the territory so far this year.
