Autopsy for Charlotte man whose remains were found in a Lexington scrapyard reveals he was shot, beaten to death

According to an investigation report obtained by WFMY News 2 from the medical examiner's office, Funderburk's skeleton was found by the staff at Leonard Salvage as they were clearing out a car meant to go to a shredder in Virginia. His remains were found wrapped in plastic as staff were moving a piece of carpet they'd gotten from the car.
