COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WSMV) - Residents were asked to shelter in place on Saturday morning after a reported shooting incident in Columbia, Tennessee. Officers with the Columbia Police Department responded to the incident in the 300 block of Skyview Drive. CPD said there was a large police presence with a barricaded suspect in that area. The suspect was taken into custody, CPD said. Officials added that there is no longer a threat to the residents in the area.
