Fans of “Pawn Stars” star Rick Harrison have been sending prayers his way since the news that he recently underwent emergency heart surgery. There has not been much in the way of an update this week, but there was good news coming out of the weekend. TMZ reported that a rep for Harrison said that he was recovering well. “Today, Rick was discharged from the hospital and is now resting at home,” the rep told TMZ. “By all accounts, he’s now doing great” That came just days after the star was rushed into surgery. “He went in for a simpler procedure and they found he needed a bypass,” a rep told Entertainment Weekly then. “He is resting comfortably and looking forward to a full recovery. He is grateful for the doctors and staff at the hospital and that his wife and family can be with him during this time.” In the week prior to the surgery, Harrison had been active on social media, even promoting cargo shorts. “Pawn Stars” has been a long-running hit series for the History Channel. It has been on the air for 23 seasons.
