MERRILLVILLE, Ind. (WLS) -- A bicyclist was killed in a crash involving a vehicle Thursday night in northwest Indiana, Merrillville police said Friday morning. Merrillville police responded about 10:50 p.m. to 61st Avenue and Interstate 65 for a reported crash. An injured bicyclist was found in the roadway. The individual was taken to a nearby hospital and later died, police said.
