As thousands of golf fans crowd into The Cliffs at Walnut Cove for the Biltmore Championship Asheville, some businesses beyond the course say they are also seeing a boost from the PGA TOUR event. In Biltmore Park, restaurant and shop owners say tournament visitors are making their way into the area, bringing more foot traffic and business during a time of year that can typically be slower. At Taco Boy, General Manager Laura Militello said the difference has been noticeable. "We've definitely seen an increase in business, a big increase in foot traffic. It's been great to have the extra volume coming through to the park," she said.
