Body camera footage shows Salt Lake City officer-involved shooting
We’re getting a firsthand look at how an officer-involved shooting unfolded downtown in Salt Lake City after police said they responded to a “violent psychiatric problem” on 400 South. Newly released body camera footage from the Salt Lake City Police Department shows officers arriving at a Burger King on 400 South. 31, police received a 911 call about a man who hit someone’s car and was screaming in the street. The caller said they believed the man was drunk. Shortly after 8:30 p.m., SLCPD said officers found the man in the Burger King drive-thru.
