Boy, 16, Fatally Shot At Grant Park Skate Park

Faster, offline reading & native notifications. DOWNTOWN —A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot Wednesday night at a skate park in Grant Park, police said. Officers responded about 9 p.m. to the park at 1135 S. Michigan Ave ., where they found the boy with a gunshot wound to his neck, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The boy was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
