Boyfriend charged after Mass. woman found dead in home

A Salem, Massachusetts, woman was found dead in her apartment this week, and authorities have charged her boyfriend with murder after he was arrested in New Hampshire, investigators said. The victim was identified as 42-year-old Patricia Donaldson. Police said her boyfriend, 50-year-old Paul Morey, has been charged in connection with her death. Salem police responded to an apartment on Cabot Street on Tuesday evening for a well-being check and found Donaldson dead inside. "The last thing I was expecting was that," a neighbor said. A neighbor who said he spoke with investigators, but asked not to be identified, said police described the killing as "really brutal." The neighbor said investigators told him Donaldson had been stabbed, strangled and struck in the face with an object.
