Bozeman man arrested after alleged crash, stabbing early Sunday

A Bozeman man is facing charges after police say he crashed his car and stabbed a bystander. The crash happened Sunday around 2:08 a.m. near Savannah Street and Davis Lane. Police say the driver ran from the scene and stabbed a bystander who tried to detain him. The victim suffered several stab wounds and is expected to survive. The suspect was found hours later and is being held on a $250,000 bond.
