Brother charged after missing Georgia teen found dead

DOUGHERTY COUNTY, Ga. — Human remains discovered during the search for a missing 18-year-old have been positively identified as the teenager, and his brother has been arrested on a murder charge, according to police. Dougherty County police said Wednesday that autopsy findings confirmed the remains belong to Samuel Jackson, who had been reported missing after he was last seen around 8:30 p.m. June 26 in the west Albany area. Authorities searching for Samuel Jackson discovered human remains in a wooded area on July 6 in an area connected to the investigation. At the time, authorities could not confirm the identity of the remains.
