Browns kicker nails 56-yard field goal to beat the Steelers
Source Scout · Cleveland.com / The Plain Dealer reports: CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns kicker Andre Szmyt made a bold promise to quarterback Deshaun Watson when the offense went back onto the field Thursday night, tied with the Steelers 24-24 with only 1:36 left to play “I’ll hit it from anywhere, but I told him, let’s get to the 42,” Szmyt said. “Make it a 60-yard field goal.” Watson gave his kicker a few extra yards, getting to the Pittsburgh 38 with 10 seconds left. So Szmyt held up his end of the bargain, nailing a 56-yard field goal — a career-high — for the game-winner as Cleveland bested Pittsburgh 27-24 .
