Carrboro police search for suspect after stabbing leaves victim seriously injured

CARRBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Carrboro Police Department is searching for a suspect in an overnight aggravated assault that left a person with life-threatening injuries. The assault happened just after midnight Friday at 101 N.C. 54, according to police. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was stabbed and suffered life-threatening injuries. Officers provided aid before EMS and Carrboro Fire-Rescue personnel arrived.
