At a check-in on Tuesday in Harlingen, ICE officials said they would allow Sister Leticia Ugboaja, affectionately known as Sister Letty, to remain in the community instead of being detained with other immigrants. Ugboaja was not ordered to wear an ankle monitoring device, but she must return for another meeting on Jan.
