Girls on the softball team say that they’ve spent years asking for the same opportunities and facilities as their male counterparts- including a locker room and field of their own. Thursday, girls and parents are continuing that fight. The girls at Central say that for years they have been asking for what should be a basic part of their athletic program- the same opportunities and resources given to the boys- making it clear they are done waiting.
