Central Pa. man sentenced to life in prison in the fatal shooting of a man lured to his death

A 22-year-old Lancaster man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after he was convicted of shooting and killing a 19-year-old more than two years ago . After a four-day jury trial in June, Ta’jhon Z. Veal, of Lancaster, was found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit criminal homicide and firearms not to be carried without a license. Veal was charged after he went to Elliot Corbin’s home, in the 400 block of South Prince Street, and fatally shot him on Jan. Corbin’s then-girlfriend and Veal’s cousin, Joy Cleveland , lured Corbin onto his apartment’s balcony, where Veal was waiting to ambush him.
