SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WOWK) — Cleanup continued on Saturday following a CSX train derailment in South Charleston that sent 17 grain cars off the tracks earlier this week. Crews working near First Avenue said Saturday afternoon that five rail cars still needed to be removed from the scene. Workers said they expect the affected portion of the rail line to be reopened by Sunday. One track is currently open, allowing trains to continue passing through the area while crews work on the second track. The roadway near the derailment site has also reopened to traffic.
