Cleveland council to consider $1M-plus in grants for public safety equipment, monitoring illegal dumping

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland City Council’s Safety Committee will consider four pieces of legislation Wednesday, including measures that could help the city secure more than $1 million in grants for public safety radios and equipment to monitor illegal dumping. The Safety Committee will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Mercedes Cotner Committee Room 217 at Cleveland City Hall, located at 601 Lakeside Ave. The meeting will be broadcast on Cleveland City Council’s YouTube channel , Cleveland TV Channel 20 on Spectrum and the TV 20 livestream.
