CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cleveland man was fatally shot Thursday night on the city’s East Side, and a 19-year-old suspect was arrested after a police pursuit ended in a crash. Jaylan Craig was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds around 11:35 p.m. on Forest Avenue near East 120th Street, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office. Craig was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Police officers responding to a ShotSpotter alert in the area encountered a vehicle believed to be connected to the shooting, authorities said. Officers pursued the vehicle, which crashed near East 116th Street and Kinsman Ave., police said.
