She first revealed her diagnosis in June, and she recently received the news that she is now cancer-free. “19 rounds. 19 mornings,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a video showing her crying and hugging her chemo nurses. “A huge thank you to the incredible radiation team who got me through every single one and made those early mornings a little brighter. I know you’re going to miss hearing Elvis every morning. “I’m so incredibly grateful to say I am CANCER FREE.” Cardarelli recently revealed that she underwent surgery as she battled the disease. “I know this isn’t the finish line,” she wrote in her latest post. “The next chapter is endocrine therapy, and while I know it will come with its own physical and emotional challenges, I’m choosing to look at it for what it is: something I GET to do to protect my future and give myself the best chance of staying cancer free. I know I am forever changed.
