Colorado Buffaloes defensive back Ben Finneseth has issued an apology for his comments about Northwestern’s home football stadium prior to Colorado’s 41-7 loss on Saturday. “This place [expletive] sucks,” Finneseth was heard saying in a pregame video clip that went viral. “[Expletive] sounds like a [expletive] library.” On Tuesday, Finneseth apologized for those comments after he was prompted by head coach Deion Sanders during a press conference . “I just want to apologize, first of all, to you guys [and] to everyone who’s tied in with the university,” Finneseth said. “To everyone at Northwestern, to everyone that supports us, to my teammates, to my coaches.
