ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — Authorities have released the name of a man fatally shot earlier this week in Orangeburg. Orangeburg County Coroner Sean Fogle identified the victim as Jamar Johnson, 41, of Orangeburg. According to the coroner’s office, Johnson was fatally wounded Tuesday in the 300 block of Seawright Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy conducted Thursday determined Johnson died of a gunshot wound, Fogle said.
