The Ada County Coroner’s Office released the name of the man recently killed in a Boise-area prison. An incarcerated man died from “life-threatening” injuries from an assault that happened on the evening of Sept. 2 at the minimum- and medium-security Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna, according to a statement shared on social media by the Idaho Department of Correction. The coroner’s office identified the victim Wednesday as Daniel Deminico, 66, of Kuna. The coroner’s office pronounced Deminico dead at the scene at 9:20 p.m. after life-saving measures were unsuccessful.
