Cincinnati police say that a man has been hospitalized after a shooting in Millvale. According to CPD, the incident stemmed from an altercation between two men that occurred near the 3300 block of Bowling Green Court around midnight on Saturday. Witnesses at the scene told WLWT that a crash involving three vehicles happened in the residential neighborhood just moments before. Afterwards, the altercation reportedly escalated into violence, with one of the men pulling out a gun and firing shots at the other. As first responders arrived on scene a short time later, the victim was determined to have suffered gunshot wounds to his chest and his wrist.

He is also expected to be booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center after being discharged from the hospital. The suspect was then located by officers at a nearby apartment shortly afterwards, where he was arrested without incident.
