MIAMI -- Emergency crews in South Florida raced to the scene of a crane collapse that injured several people on Monday morning, according to Miami police. Few details have been released, but police said the crane collapse took place in Miami's Brickell neighborhood in the area of Brickell Bay Drive and Southeast 12th Street. Video and images from the scene show what appeared to be a crane that fell across a white vehicle. Images showed that vehicle on fire, with thick black smoke billowing into the air. "Right now, four patients were transported after a complex rescue operation," City of Miami Fire-Rescue Lt. Pete Sanchez said in a statement to CBS News Miami.
