Three people were injured in a collision involving a Jefferson County Public Schools bus and a passenger vehicle on Sept. 18, according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police. LMPD officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at South 28th Street and Wilson Avenue, on the edge of the Parkland and Park DuValle neighborhoods, around 9:03 a.m., spokesperson Aaron Ellis said. When officers arrived, they located a collision between a Ford Fusion and a JCSP school bus. A preliminary investigation indicates the school bus was at a stop sign and attempting to proceed forward when the Ford entered the intersection and hit the side of the bus, Ellis said.
