Cumberland County skill games company to lay off 81 workers
Source Scout · PennLive / The Patriot-News reports: A Camp Hill skill games vendor announced Thursday it will lay off 81 employees, blaming the state legislature for failing to regulate the industry. Republic Amusements, the parent company of Capital Vending, Apple Vending and Entertainment Experts, said it has filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) notice with Pennsylvania, giving 60 days notice of the layoffs. The second-generation family-owned Republic Amusements works with bars, restaurants, fraternal organizations, family entertainment centers and convenience stores in Pennsylvania.
